The project “Establishment of experimental integrated optical modulator production plant” completed

From 2017, SIA Fiber Optical Solution implemented the project “Establishment of an Experimental Integrated Optical Modulator Plant”, the aim of which was to increase the productivity and competitiveness of SIA Fiber Optical Solution by developing and implementing a new technology required for the production of the new company’s product.

As a result, after successful testing of the technology, the company will start production of multifunctional integrated optical modules in Riga, Podraga Street 2a, using a new reverse proton exchange technology to improve the accuracy and durability of its final product – fiber optic gyroscopes.

The project is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund, Operational Program “Growth and Employment” specific support objective 1.2.1. “Increase private sector investment in R & D” measure 1.2.1.4. “Support for the introduction of new products into production”.

Projekta “Eksperimentālās integrālo optisko modulatoru ražotnes izveide” pabeigts

No 2017. gada SIA “Fiber Optical Solution” īstenoja projektu “Eksperimentālās integrālo optisko modulatoru ražotnes izveide”, kura mērķis bija SIA “Fiber Optical Solution” produktivitātes un konkurētspējas paaugstināšana, izstrādājot un ieviešot ražošanā jaunu tehnoloģiju, kas nepieciešama jaunā uzņēmuma produkta izgatavošanai.

Rezultātā pēc veiksmīgas tehnoloģijas testēšanas uzņēmums uzsāks daudzfunkcionālo integrālo optisko moduļu ražošanu Rīgā, Podraga ielā 2a, izmantojot jaunu reversās protonu apmaiņas tehnoloģiju, lai tādējādi uzlabotu savas gala produkcijas – optiskās šķiedras žiroskopu – darbības precizitāti un izturību.

Projektu līdzfinansē Eiropas Reģionālā attīstības fonds, darbības programmas “Izaugsme un nodarbinātība” 1.2.1. specifiskā atbalsta mērķa “Palielināt privātā sektora investīcijas P&A” 1.2.1.4. pasākumā “Atbalsts jaunu produktu ieviešanai ražošanā”.

Finalization of the project “Establishment of experimental integrated optical modulator production plant”

In June 2020, the testing of the new equipment and technology, as well as the testing of the products produced by the experimental technologies was completed in the project “Establishment of the Experimental Integrated Optical Modulators Plant” and thus the implementation of the project started in 2017 was completed.

2020. gada jūnijā projektā “Eksperimentālās integrālo optisko modulatoru ražotnes izveide” pabeigta jauno iekārtu un tehnoloģijas testēšana, kā arī eksperimentālo tehnoloģiju saražotās produkcijas testēšana un līdz ar to pabeigta 2017. gadā uzsāktā projekta īstenošana.
